Chalet La Grande Sassière is a brand new high quality property for this coming winter. The start of building was at the end of winter 2010-2011. Chalet La Grande Sassière is situated on the edge of the village centre of Châtel ensuring a peaceful night for all guests.
The gondola lift of Super-Châtel is only 400 metres away which takes you directly in the Portes du Soleil. The free bus stop is at your chalet.

This charming, well built chalet is decorated in the popular Savoyard style and provides very comfortable and modern accommodation. The warm atmosphere is created by the beamed ceiling and authentic pine furniture and is completed with attractive décor and homely touches.

All six bedrooms have modern en suite bathrooms. The first floor lounge and dining area has West-facing balconies and a sunny terrace from which to enjoy the mountains in the Abondance valley and an attractive fireplace, making the room very cosy on snowy nights.
There is also a separate lounge with a large flat screen television. At the end of the day you can put your skis in the ski room with a ski boot dryer. Your chalet staff live out.

Every morning an extensive breakfast. When you go skiing the chalet staff will clear the table and taking care of the housekeeping. After skiing there is a hearty or sweet afternoon tea and in the evening the chalet staff serving a delicious three course dinner including wine in your own chalet.
