Chalet Morgane, La Tania
Chalet Morgane is located just above the main village of La Tania in a private wooded location
Chalet Morgane has been built to a very high specification to provide a homely environment to spend your ski holidays - the chalet is teeming with the traditional features of a log cabin with exposed beams, open fireplace and old skis on the wall. The comfy living room has ample seating around the fireplace with terraces to enjoy the sun and an outdoor hot-tub to relax those aching apres-ski muscles. The chalet sleeps up to 12 people in 6 en-suite bedrooms on two floors with five twins and one double. The double room also has a mezzanine above which is accessed by a ladder - at the discretion of parents regarding the suitability of the ladder access, this can accommodate two additional children at reduced prices
Chalet Morgane is located just above the main village of La Tania in a private wooded location close to our other chalets (Lea, Elliot and Christine). The piste, gondola lift and village centre are just 200m away with easy access on foot to all the local facilities. The more adventurous skier can ski back to the chalet through the trees but for the beginners and children access to and from the slopes is just a few minutes away

Our menus are the same in all of our catered chalets - we believe that the standard of the food is too important for the chalet staff to decide so we don't give our staff a budget and leave it up to them to cut corners! The menu is set at the beginning of the season and all staff are trained by us how to prepare every meal.
In our premium chalets, the additional service includes aperitifs before dinner and liquers after, an additional cheeseboard course, extra breakfast options and better quality wines.
The main menu is identical wherever you go so even in our lower priced chalets, you won't go short of good quality food. We want to see left-overs on our tables - or you haven't had enough to eat. We can cater for all types of special dietary requirements - including vegetarian, gluten free, lactose-free, nut-free and child menus with many products imported from England to suit the tastes of the British kids. These menu variations are also standard throughout the company so even these are not left to chance.
We serve bottled wine which is of a good standard - a choice of red, white and rose and in unlimited supply throughout the evening meal.
In today's economic climate, the cost of eating out in resort has increased but our guests have no need to do this except on the chalet couple's day off ..... the breakfast table is loaded with as much as you can eat and when you return from skiing there is another loaded afternoon tea table so you leave us well stocked up for your day's skiing and an expensive lunch is not necessary as you can eat your fill when you come back.
Apart from the traditional porridge, cereals and continental breakfast, we also include a full cooked English breakfast with bacon, sausages and baked beans (especially imported from the UK) to keep the real traditional taste .... a great way to start the day.
And when you return from skiing, our afternoon tea will satisfy those hunger pangs with French bread and home-made cake in plentiful supply - not limited to one piece per person so no need to make sure you're first back from the slopes! Our afternoon tea is served by our staff so fresh supplies are readily available whenever you return and the service continues throughout.
On the chalet couple's day off (one day in the middle of the week), a buffet breakfast will be available for you to help yourselves - the only day of the week when the Full English option is not available. The resort managers and other chalet staff will be around to make sure you have all you need and to clear up and set the table for afternoon tea - although your chalet couple are away for the day, the resort managers will be available if you need anything. In the evening, you can try out one of the local restaurants - we have the menus in the chalets and our staff can help you make your choice and book you a table.
Our menus are not complicated - they are based on normal home cooked food rather than fancy complicated recipes. This way we ensure that most options suit the tastes of most people and the staff are more than capable of producing perfect results every time.
