Description:

La Plagne 1800 can be found in the Tarentise Valley and together with its neighbour Les Arcs ski resort forms the Paradiski, with a grand total of 425km of pistes. La Plagne is made up of several other ski villages which you will see featured on this website.

La Plagne with its 225 km of pistes offers a great selection of runs, mainly blues and reds, wide motorway pistes. For those looking for more challenging runs you can take advantage of the Paradiski area.

The area is well known for its off piste skiing, we recommend hiring a guide and experiencing some of the ski areas off piste. You will be surprised at how long throughout the day you can still find patches of fresh snow.

Skiing across to Les Arcs is via the Express Vanoise. Opened in 2003 this double decker cable car can hold 200 skiers and transports you in around 4 minutes to the otherside. The lifts operate between the villages of Montchavin and Plan- Peisey. The lift really opens up the area for the skier and snowboarder.

La Plagne and the surrounding area offers a wide selection of properties from catered ski chalets to self catered apartments. You will find a great range to suit everyone.
You will find plenty to do for families and non skiers. For those looking for night life you will not be disappointed, plenty of bars around La Plagne

Let’s not forget that you can experience the 1992 Bobsleigh ride, a total distance of 1.5km and a total of 19 bends you can reach speeds of 50mph.
