Description:

The ski resort of Solden can be found at a height of 1368 meters above sea level. The resort has over 145km of very well maintained pistes and a state of the art lift system carrying around 70,000 people per hour.

The resort is famous for its Apre ski scene, from around 4pm you will find most skiers and snowboarders will descend to the village to start the party which will go on to the early hours of the morning.

Solden is very popular like a lot of Austrian resort s for off piste and glacier skiing, a wide and varied selection of slopes can be found to suit all type of skiers or boarders. You will find around 146 km squared of glacier skiing with only 1% of its ski area being built by man.

Maybe not a favourite with small families, but defiantly with the younger crowds and couples.
