St Jean daulps

St Jean D’Aulps is situated of the main road to Morzine and is part of the Portes Du Soleil ski area, though it is not linked in any way. Around 10 km of pistes can be found here is a great place for children learning to ski as it can be very quite during peak holidays.

The skiing is around 6 minutes by bus from the main village in an area called the Grande Terche. Even though there is not much in the way of pistes there is plenty in the form of off-piste. Like other smaller resorts you will tend to find fresh snow even after a couple of days.

Le Roc d’Enfer is home to the Circuit Roc d’Enfer, a selection t of red ski runs which are broken into two 5km sections of uninterrupted  skiing set in this stunning valley . The two 5km sections are linked by a chairlift – and then draglift at the village of La Chevrerie in the Vallee Verte

The village itself offers a few bars and restaurants. A great place to stay away from the crowds but still have easy access to the Portes du Soleil ski area. You will find a small selection of shops and bars at the base of the lift station. Apres ski here is quite so if you are looking to make more of an evening of it head out towards Morzine.
