Megeve Ski Resort

Megeve ski resort can be found at a height of 1027m above sea level, Megeve came around as an alternative to Austria’s St Moritz, which it certainly has.  In a way you could say it was France’s  first purpose built resort, unlike most purpose built resorts Megeve stands out from the rest.

The resort is part of the Evasion Mont Blanc ski area with a total of 445 km of pistes.

The skiing here suits all abilities, from easy wide motor way slopes to some challenging blacks for more of the expert skier. The great thing here for those looking for fresh snow is that you will find powder days after the fresh dump. Not too many skiers or snowboarders come here for the off piste.

Non skiers can obtain a ski pass to join skiers on the mountain for lunch, there is also plenty to do of the slopes. You will find designer shops and Michelin starred restaurants, cobbled streets with a medieval center.  A truly stunning resort.
